OUR PASSION, OUR PURSUIT, OUR PLANET

Cultivated in Ethiopia more than 850 years ago, coffee has become an integral part of our homes, our offices, and our communities.  Over time, the passion for extracting coffee’s robust flavors has led to the development of a variety of brewing techniques from cultures around the world. This passion and pursuit of excellence is shared by Elephas Coffee®, which is why we are constantly sourcing the best tasting beans the world has to offer.

Single-origin coffee brings value to farmers as it is processed through the direct trade practice, ensuring the farmers get a fair price for the beans they produce.  With sustainable and reliable income, farmers continue producing high-quality beans through sustainable and environmentally friendly cultivation processes.

When you purchase a cup of single-source coffee at a cafe, or a bag of single-origin coffee for home brewing, you are contributing to the growth of a network of high-quality products and ethical business practices.  The traceability of single origin coffee is significant because the resulting flavor relies on several geographical elements, such as soil, climate, cultivation settings, shade, botanical variety, altitude, and processing method.

Elephas Coffee® incorporates sustainability into our business model through the use of organic and Fair-Trade coffees, use of recyclable packaging materials, and partnering with suppliers that offer 100% organic and Fair-Trade textiles for our apparel. When you order from Elephas Coffee®, you are helping us ensure that the ecological integrity of our planet is maintained and Earth’s environmental systems are kept in balance.

Elephas Coffee® has partnered with Eden: People+Planet to restore biodiversity and improve global air quality. With your support, we will exceed our goal of planting 1 million trees. When you purchase from Elephas Coffee®, a portion of the proceeds is donated to the global reforestation fund to keep our planet healthy, reverse the effects of climate change, and maintain balance in the ecosystem for future generations.

“Deforestation is changing our climate, harming people and the natural world. We must, and can reverse this trend.” -Dr. Jane Goodall
